Bissell’s Paint & Panel are excited to let you know about our new opening hours:

Bissell’s Paint & Panel have observed the impact that Covid-19 has had in the workplace and listened to our staff regarding the impact to their mental health during this time.

As such, we are proud to announce that Bissell’s Paint & Panel will be moving to 4 day working week, a measure that we believe is revolutionary within our industry as it is bringing us into line with recommendation from leading mental health advocates such as UNSW and R U OK.

By increasing the working day slightly to keep pay the same, our staff will now have approximately an extra 8 weeks off every year without touching their annual leave. This will improve overall staff welfare & lifestyle – essential to positive mental health – by giving our staff the opportunity to spend more quality time with their families, allowing parents to be involved in more school activities with their children and reduce the cost of their childcare and fuel consumption. This move to a shorter working week also has the added benefits of reducing both our carbon footprint and that of the Noosa region by reducing the amount of traffic on the road.  

As always, our customers and work providers are our priority, and we have undertaken studies and introduced new practices to ensure that our customer service remains at the highest standard. Customers now have the flexibility of being able to collect or drop off their vehicle from 0730 Monday – Thursday and we have increased the number of key collection boxes for customers who can only collect or drop off their vehicles outside of our new business hours (0730 – 1600 Monday – Thursday).
